It's the time that everyone loves, the chance to win something! Up today is the award winning MSI K8T Neo, as featured in our Athlon 64 motherboard round up here.

This is a Socket 754 Athlon 64 motherboard, ready to take an AMD Sempron/Athlon 64. For full details, read the review or visit the MSI website. there is a runner up prize, consisting of an MSI T-Shirt and few other bits and bobs.

I don't beleive in winning something without putting some effort in, so much like our last competition, some creativity is going to be necessary. So for a chance to win, you need to print out the attached image onto an A4 piece of paper.

You must take a photo with this print out in and do the most creative thing you can with it or involving it. You can use as little or as many as like.

Photos can either be posted here (no larger than 800x600 please) or sent to me by snail mail for people who don't have a digital camera at their disposal.

Video entries will not be accepted, as too few people will have use of one, but there will be chances for this in other competitions. If you haven't seen the video that won the last competition, check it out here.

I have the final say in who wins and I will announce the winner when I feel the time is appropriate. Only one entry per user, so make it good. Good Luck!

This calls for some film! I think I'll get my media teachers to pull stupid faces or something, something that'll make me laugh!

Are we allowed to do fancy stuff in PSP/Photoshop? I presume so, though this may disadvantage film users who can't scan in.

Only Peter and I count as staff. Being contributers shouldn't limit you from this. After all, if you are willing to the put the effort in, I don't see why not.

Well, anything that goes beyond "put your e-mail address here" is never going to be 100% fair.

But no Photoshop/PSP. The creativity should be in the content of the image.

Well, me and spode have just had a little chat, and i have expressed to him that i will not be entering this comp. I feel that my professional connections to photography, woulds give me an unfair advantage, and I know that if i lost a comp like this to a 'pro' then i wouldnt be a happy bunny!.
So good luck to all, and spode, if you need any help comming to a final descision on a winner, just gimme a shout, i would be happy to help with the selection process.

good luck to all

rilla

I can see why you don't want to, Rilla. It's wise of you and very considerate.
I hope I can put some of the skills Ive learnt in my lessons so far to use, however, I do not feel this will give me that much of an advantage, as I've only been learning for half a term. Razz
I'm going to use up a lot of printer ink for my idea.........

Well, considering the amount of entries so far - just a simple photo of the print out is going to be enough at the moment. Unless someone is cooking up a master plan.

Until I decide really. Can't go on forever though. I figure people need a couple of weeks to get their acts together.

My beautiful HP Color LaserJet 8500DN's drum is nackered Cry so the printouts look a bit faded. I'm sure that won't be a problem. This IS relevant to the topic, as you will see when my entry is submitted...........
